The 1000UL Series are extremely durable and reliable exit devices. It is designed to open single doors continuously without fail allowing people to exit safely out of danger. The 1000UL meets the UL listed safety standards*. The 1000UL is one of the best panic exit devices for medium to high usage because it is equipped with a dogging**. The dogging, when turned to the proper setting, allows the panic bar to remain pressed (unlocked) therefore avoiding constant strain and use on the bar, which consequently gives the UL500 springs longer life.

The 1000UL is available is a painted (1000UL-P)or stainless steel finish (1000UL-S). The 1000UL features a 1/2" throw latch bolt and a 5/8" throw deadlocking bolt to tightly secure the connection between the exit device and the door.
