The 500 series panic exit device is Panic Exit Pro's most competitively priced high quality exit device .
The 500 series fits 1 3/4" (44mm) thick standard right and left handed hollow metal doors and wood doors. The 500 series features an easy access dogging* knob located on the head of the exit device. The dogging, when turned to the proper setting, allows the panic bar to remain depressed (unlocked) The dogging, when turned to the proper setting, allows the panic bar to remain depressed (unlocked) allowing pull access from the outside of the door. This series also features a 11/16" (17mm) throw latch bolt that tightly secures a door. The 500 series is a superb exiting device for medium to high usage.
The 500 series is available in a painted (500-P) or stainless steel (500-S) finish.
