The 100 series is an excellent, cost effective press panic exit device for all functions. The 100-P is suited for warehouses, factories, schools, hospitals, or any public building. The 100-P-R is operated easily by applying slight pressure on the touch bar that will retract the latch bolt for immediate exit. The 100-P is ideal for medium-high usage.
The 100-P-R series is available for a left hand door (100-P-L) or a right hand door (100-P-R). The 300-P exit device is for a single door and features a painted finish. The 100-P-R also features an easy access knob dogging* located on the side of the 100-P-R. The dogging, when turned to the proper setting, allows the panic bar to remain depressed (unlocked) allowing pull access from the outside of the door.
Please note you must select the correct hand, either right(100-P-R) or left
(100-P-L), in the Options menu according to your installation needs. By default the right handed (100-P-R) exit device appears. To determine the correct bar, stand on the inside of your door so it swings away from you. If the door is hinged on your right hand side select the right panic exit bar option, if the door is hinged on your left hand side select the left hand panic exit bar option.
