The 510-S panic exit device is a mixture of brains and beauty with its patented alarm function and stainless steel finish. The alarm is activated from the 510-S panic device when its push bar is pressed. The alarm's function can be very convenient in various situations. For example, places that have emergency exits far from other personnel and have sensitive information or expensive items in the building (i.e. hospital, museum, or electronic store) will find the alarm function helpful in notifying personnel that the emergency exit is being used. Hence, two people would not be able to leave through the rear emergency exit door with a 42" plasma TV without the knowledge of the manager or other personnel in an electronic store.

The 510-S is equipped with a 5/8" locking latch throw and a 5/8" deadlocking latch throw that tightly secures a door.
