The Sentry E. Labs 2082GL Glass Door Electric Strike is specifically designed for frameless glass doors and provides a clean, low-profile solution for adding electronic access control to glass door applications. Unlike many electric strikes that are not compatible with glass doors, the 2082GL is designed to work with frameless glass doors up to 12mm thick.

The 2082GL is compatible with both single and dual frameless glass doors and can be mounted in metal or wood frames. The stainless steel locking gate extends only approximately 1/2" from the faceplate when locked, providing a minimal-profile appearance. For single doors, the strike is mounted on the side opposite the hinge. For dual frameless doors, the strikes are mounted above the doors near the center where the two doors meet.

This model is a fail-safe electric strike that unlocks when power is interrupted, helping provide emergency egress during a power failure. The 2082GL requires a 12 VDC power source and must be paired with an access control device to regulate the amount of time the strike remains unlocked. An automatic door opener is also recommended to reduce stress on the glass door as it enters the strike gate.

Installation & Application:

• Single Frameless Glass Door: Mount the strike on the side opposite the hinge
• Dual Frameless Glass Doors: Mount the strikes above the doors near the center where the doors meet
• Designed for frameless glass doors only
