The EMX HAWK 1 can be installed at heights of up to 10 feet and features adjustable detection sensitivity through DIP switch settings. It operates using either 12V or 24V power and can be configured to detect motion in both directions for flexible installation. When paired with a compatible automatic door opener, the sensor can activate the door as someone approaches, while a second HAWK 1 sensor can be installed to provide automatic activation from the opposite side. For installations requiring additional electronic locking devices or request-to-exit controls, the HAWK 1 can be integrated with a compatible central access control device, commonly referred to as a "nucleus," to expand the system's functionality.
