The TB650+ Adjustable Hydraulic Gate Closer is a heavy-duty self-closing solution designed for pedestrian gates weighing from 150 to 250 lbs. Its hydraulic and nitrogen gas-controlled operation provides smooth, controlled closing action, while the adjustable closing speed allows the closer to be fine-tuned to the requirements of the gate and installation. With its higher weight capacity, the TB650+ is an excellent choice for larger and heavier residential, commercial, and pedestrian gates.
The TB650 mounts on the opening side of the gate and pushes the gate closed after it has been opened. It can be installed on the top, middle, or bottom of the gate and works with both right-hand and left-hand configurations. Designed for gates from 44" to 72" wide, the TB650+ accommodates both in-line and offset hinge arrangements for greater installation flexibility.
Constructed from steel with a durable PVC-coated black finish, the TB650+ is suitable for vinyl, steel and wood (also chain-link gates with the optional TB-LINX, sold separately). Mounting brackets and a fitting bar are included to assist with installation. The closer is not compatible with gates less than 30" wide. To retain the product warranty and restrict the gate opening angle, a gate stop must be installed.
Important: Operation of the closer outside the specified temperature range of 15°F to 122°F may result in improper operation or complete failure of the closer.
