Designed as a replacement for the 2230, this heavy-duty mechanical lock features a pick- and bump-resistant design, a deadlocking spring latch, and an easy-to-change combination with thousands of possible combinations.
The 2830 features an exterior and interior knob, reversible handing, an adjustable latch, and an auto-locking function with passage capability. The passage function allows the door to remain unlocked when desired, while the lock can also be configured to lock automatically every time the door closes. It covers a standard 2 1/8" door preparation hole and is designed for fast and easy installation.
Weather resistant and suitable for both exterior and interior applications, the 2830 is an excellent choice for custodial and maintenance closets, garage doors, storage rooms, computer rooms, security rooms, and gates.
