PRODUCT DETAILS

Emergency Door Release Button CP-21R Product Use

The Emergency Door Release Button (CP-21R) is a manual emergency release device designed to override compatible electrical locking systems during emergency situations. It can be used with electrical locking devices, including electromagnetic locks and electric panic bars, to provide an emergency release function. The unit features a double-pole switch that changes the contacts from normally closed (N/C) to normally open (N/O) when the emergency release glass is broken. This allows the device to interrupt or change the locking circuit as part of an emergency exit system.

The CP-21R features a red housing with FIRE printed across the top and operating instructions displayed on the glass pane for easy identification. Its break-glass activation provides a manual method of triggering the emergency release switch when needed. Each unit includes a key for resetting the device or replacing the glass after activation. Designed for use with compatible electrical locking and release devices, the CP-21R provides an additional emergency control option for secured exit doors.

Panic Exit Pro offers more expert access control assistance than anyone.
We have carefully selected entry control devices for every scenario, allowing you to put together a kit that is not only cost-effective but also includes all the components you need - no more, no less.
