The TB950+ Magnum Gate Closer is an all-in-one concealed gate closer and hinge system designed to provide reliable, self-closing performance for high-use pedestrian gates. Its concealed design keeps the closing mechanism protected from tampering and vandalism while providing a clean, streamlined appearance. The TB950+ is designed for gates weighing from 50 to 250 lbs. and works with both left-hand and right-hand gate configurations.
Built for demanding commercial and residential applications, the TB950+ combines the gate hinge and closer into a single system, eliminating the need for a separate surface-mounted closer. Two independent speed adjustments allow the closing and latching speeds to be controlled separately, while the adjustment controls remain hidden from view for added security and a cleaner installation.
The TB950+ includes an integrated restrictor to help prevent the gate from opening beyond the specified angle and does not include a hold-open function. The standard maximum opening angle is 90 degrees, while an optional 180 Drive Plate allows the system to accommodate up to a 180-degree opening. With an operating temperature range from -40°F to 122°F and durable electro-galvanized steel construction, the TB950+ is designed for reliable performance in a wide range of outdoor environments. It is well suited for high-use pedestrian gates where concealed hardware, durability, security, and dependable self-closing operation are important.
Important: The standard TB950+ has a maximum opening angle of 90°. A 180 Drive Plate is required for 180-degree operation. The TB950+ does not have a hold-open function. Chain-link gate installation requires the TB950-LINX accessory, which is sold separately.
