The following panic exit bars are both included within this dual door application:

   About Dual Door Applications

When it comes to dual door applications, the main factor to be aware of is which door functions as the primary and which will function as the secondary. Both of the bars within this package have a pre-designated function. The main panic exit bar is designed to be the first to open. For the secondary door to open, the primary must initially be engaged. Since the secondary bar is what complements the dual door function, they come equipped with a vertical rod. This dual door application features the 3000FR Series Panic Exit Bar as the primary and the 3200FR Series Panic Exit Bar as the secondary. These bars are fire-rated, meaning they pass the 3-hour fire resistance test. Exit only.

The 3000FR Series (primary) is designed to:
  • Be installed with 6 Screw Bolts (not included)
  • Fit doors with a minimum width of 25"
  • Meet UL listed safety standards
  • Meet 3 hour fire resistance testing
  • Meet ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 Panic Exit Hardware high quality standards
  • Be available in painted or stainless steel
  • Be used for medium to high usage doors
  • Be used for a single door setup
  • Cylinder lock & key included
  • Include strikes (latching devices)
  • Include a 5/8" (16mm) stainless steel latch bolt
  • Include a 5/8" (16mm) stainless steel deadlocking latch bolt
  • Have a semi-length push pad
The 3200FR Series (secondary) is designed to:
  • Be installed with 6 Screw Bolts (not included)
  • Fit doors with a minimum width of 25"
