When it comes to dual door applications, the main factor to be aware of is which door functions as the primary and which will function as the secondary. Both of the bars within this package have a pre-designated function. The main panic exit bar is designed to be the first to open. For the secondary door to open, the primary must initially be engaged. Since the secondary bar is what complements the dual door function, they come equipped with a vertical rod. This dual door application features the 4000FR Series Panic Exit Bar as the primary and the 4200FR Series Panic Exit Bar as the secondary. These bars are fire-rated, meaning they pass the 3-hour fire resistance test. Exit only.
