The WKP-P Wired/Wireless Access Control Keypad is a cost-effective entry device designed to provide secure keypad access for electronic door locking systems. It can store up to 60 unique PIN codes, allowing multiple authorized users to access a secured entrance without requiring physical keys. The keypad features durable plastic construction and backlit keys that illuminate when pressed, making it convenient to operate in low-light conditions. For additional security, the WKP-P includes an automatic lockout feature that temporarily disables keypad operation after a series of incorrect PIN entries.
The WKP-P supports wired and wireless access control configurations, with the 433MHz version recommended for wireless operation when paired with an Estate Swing 433MHz Receiver. The 318MHz version is recommended for wired applications due to its wireless signal strength limitations, and wired operation requires a 12V DC power supply. Because the keypad does not contain the necessary timed relays for managing both access and exit devices, it must be connected to a compatible central access control device, commonly referred to as a "nucleus." This device manages communication between the keypad, electronic locking device, and additional request-to-exit accessories, allowing the WKP-P to function as part of a complete door security system.
Panic Exit Pro offers more expert access control assistance than anyone.
