The Sentry Electronics Labs Switched Lever Handle is a secure and versatile exit device designed for commercial, panic exit, and security exit doors. It features normally closed (N/C) and normally open (N/O) contacts, allowing compatibility with various security and access control systems. The handle can be used with keypads, proximity card readers, electromagnetic locks, and electronic exit bars. It is available in left-handed (L) and right-handed (R) configurations to accommodate different door applications.

The switched lever handle operates using a built-in rotor that activates a microswitch to release a connected locking device. When the handle is held in the downward unlocked position, the microswitch remains engaged, allowing the locking device to disengage for passage through the door. The handle can also be paired with access control devices featuring a timed relay, allowing communication between the handle, access device, and locking system. The handle is not reversible, so the correct left-handed or right-handed configuration must be selected when ordering.
