The LockeyUSA 285-P Keyless Medium Duty Lever Trim - Detex is a fully mechanical keyless panic trim designed for use with compatible Detex panic exit bars. Built around the LockeyUSA 2835 lock body, the 285-P replaces a traditional keyed cylinder with a flat tailpiece and provides convenient exterior access using a push-button combination. Its medium-duty lever makes it a practical solution for panic exit doors in commercial buildings, churches, schools, medical offices, and other facilities requiring controlled exterior entry. Because the lock operates mechanically, it requires no batteries, wiring, or electricity, helping simplify installation and ongoing maintenance.

The 285-P features an outside passage function and changeable handing, allowing it to be configured for right- or left-opening doors and gates. One user code provides thousands of possible combinations, with the supplied tumblers supporting 2 to 7-digit codes that can be easily changed when access requirements change. The trim is designed to cover a standard 2-1/8" door preparation hole and is compatible with panic bars that accept a flat tailpiece with a turn radius of less than 74 degrees. Constructed from zinc-plated steel with Teflon-coated stainless steel interior components, the 285-P is weather resistant, suitable for interior and exterior applications, and backed by a Lifetime Mechanical Warranty.
